Terry McDonagh Photogrpaphy Coliemore Tightrope
Apparently Coliemore Harbour used to be the main harbour for Dublin, back in the day, due to the deep channel between it and Dalkey Island. This is one of the reasons that castles were built in Dalkey, to safely store all the goods arriving in from overseas. Today it's the quaintest little fishing harbour which has also become a popular swimming spot for those coming from far and wide - recent lockdowns have put it firmly on the map!
